We are just 1km away from Shirdi Sai Baba Samadhi mandir. Estimated time from Shirdi- 1) Bus Stand – 6 mins 2) Railway station- 7 mins 3) Airport – 22 mins You can take an auto or cab from the above location to reach Saiteerth.

Where is Dwarakamai in Shirdi?

Dwarakamai is located at the right side of the Sai Mandir entrance. It was the home of Sai Baba for many years. Inside Dwarakamai mosque, is an invincible fire that was lit by Sai Baba himself during his days and is still ongoing. Baba’s stone which he use for seating and his bathing area are still preserved. Baba often cooked for his disciples at Dwarkamai. The Sai Teerth Theme park has as well as a wonderful attraction called Dwarkamai. It’s recreates a scene of Baba with his devotees using robotics and lights.

What is Teerth Yatra?

Teerth Yatra is a trip undertaken by devotees visiting the most sacred and religious places. These places mostly include famous religious destinations of India. There are different teerth yatras that one can embark on throughout the country. However, at Sai Teerth Theme park there is a show called Teerth Yatra that takes devotees on a journey across the most important temples of India. What is laser show?

The Laser show is one of the main attractions at Saiteerth. The entire life of Sai Baba is shown in the form of a laser show. From his birth, to his days at Dwarakamai till the final days of his life. The laser show is a great way to visually see the inspiring life journey of Sai Baba. Besides, many of his teachings and philosophises are also expounded through the laser show. The colourful laser lights along with the soulful background music are the perfect way to learn about the leader’s life and ways.

Shirdi is located in Maharashtra and is well connected to several main cities of the state and country through rail and road. Who is Sai Baba?

Sai Baba is one of the most respected spiritual leaders of the world. His teachings including the motto – ‘Sabka Malik Ek’, reverberates with devotees. He was born in 1835 to a Hindu couple. However, he was abandoned and left in the woods and was later adopted by a Muslim fakir couple. When he was 12 he started living with his Guru named Venkusa. He travelled from place to place and finally made Shirdi his home. He lived for more than 50 years in Shirdi where he preached and also performed many miracles.

What is the real name of Shirdi Sai Baba?

Interestingly, no one is sure till date what the real name of Sai Baba was. He dressed up as a monk and because of his spiritual aura he was fondly called Sai Baba. His name Sai was given to him by Mahalsapati a priest in a temple in Shirdi.

What is ticket price?

There is no entrance fees to the Sai Temple, but those who want the VIP Darshan pass have to pay Rs. 200. Also, the seva fees for the different aartis and the VIP Aarti pass varies depending on the aarti time. Devotees can choose and pay accordingly. Devotees have the option of making donations suitable to them which contribute towards the are welcome for the running of the mandir activities.
The other attractions in Shirdi, such as Dwarakamai and Gurusthan have no entrance fees. Sai Teerth theme park, however, has a reasonable ticket price and often has various exciting discounts and offers including different rates for adults, kids, combo tickets and more.

What is the best time to visit Shirdi?

Shirdi is visited by devotees all throughout the year. October to February is considered the best time to visit Shirdi because the weather is pleasant. Shirdi is quite popular during festivals such as Diwali, Holi, Navratri etc.

What does Darshan mean?

The remains or Samadhi of Sai Baba is located at the Sai Samadhi Mandir in Shirdi. Thousands of devotees visit the temple each day for Darshan of the Samadhi. They stand in long queues to reach the Samadhi and pay their respects at the feet of Sai Baba. Furthermore, there is also Live Darshan that devotees can stream live on their smartphones or other devices. The broadcast covers all activities of the temple between 4 AM to 11 PM.

What is VIP Darshan in Shirdi?

A VIP Darshan pass allows devotees to skip the long queues and reach the temple area directly. Having a VIP pass helps save a lot of time and costs only Rs. 200.

What time is Shej Aarti in Shirdi?

Shej Aarti is the last aarti of the day. It is held every day at 10:30 PM. The aarti is named after the incense or dhoop that is used in this ritual. Besides, the first aarti of the day known as the Kakad Aarti is also quite popular and is conducted at 5:15 AM in the morning. The noon aarti and sunset aka Dhoop Aarti are the other aartis held in the Samadhi Temple.

Samruddhi Mahamarg is from where to where?

The Samruddhi Mahamarg is a massive undertaking that aims to connect different routes and cities of India. The roads are designed for vehicles that run at 100 to 120km per hour. The first phase connects Nagur to Shirdi and second phase connects Shirdi with Bharvir. The entire project is estimated to get completed in 2024 and will reduce travel time to a large extent.
