Who is Sai Baba?

Sai Baba is one of the most respected spiritual leaders of the world. His teachings including the motto – ‘Sabka Malik Ek’, reverberates with devotees. He was born in 1835 to a Hindu couple. However, he was abandoned and left in the woods and was later adopted by a Muslim fakir couple. When he was 12 he started living with his Guru named Venkusa. What time is Shej Aarti in Shirdi?

Shej Aarti is the last aarti of the day. It is held every day at 10:30 PM. The aarti is named after the incense or dhoop that is used in this ritual. Besides, the first aarti of the day known as the Kakad Aarti is also quite popular and is conducted at 5:15 AM in the morning. The noon aarti and sunset aka Dhoop Aarti are the other aartis held in the Samadhi Temple.
